We witness to the English speaking Chinese and Tamil speaking Indians in my housing area, called Taman Sri Kluang, We go for home visitations.
My husband, Wilfred Abisheganathan, gives Bible study to new contacts and shares God's Word at house meetings. He also encourages the believers and preaches.
Our daughter Joanna is involved in organising programs for youth. Our daughter Jerusha witnesses to new contacts. Both our daughters play the guitar for the youth.
We hold house meetings with our Advent Christian members and new contacts. After sharing God's Word, we have a time of prayer, followed by dinner.
We share Jesus to non-Christian friends who visit us. A Chinese Buddhist gentleman has now begun to read the Bible. A Chinese Buddhist lady is also visiting us, to be prayed for and to hear about Jesus. My neighbour, an elderly Chinese Buddhist gentleman comes to our home often to be prayed for. We share Jesus with him.
Indian and Chinese ladies in our neighbourhood visit our home for prayer. We pray together and I encourage them in the Lord. Some of them just come to have fellowship and to share about the difficulties they are facing. They feel happy to have someone to listen to them.
Some ladies request for prayer over the telephone. I share Jesus with them and pray for them.
“Nehemiah said,
‘Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks,
and send some to those who have nothing prepared.
This day is sacred to our Lord.
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’”
– Nehemiah 8:10
